Anti conformist and non-standard, Stefanie Renoma plays with the masculine body: she models it and tricks us with a troubled ambiguity, a double identity. Setting, decoration, androgyny, the double concept, her style is asserted. However Renoma disorients us by making sexuality obscure and because androgyny reigns; it is only to enchant us even more. An erotic tension, a significant and provocative desire pulls out from the apparent nudity of her photographs: the body is desexualised, asexual, the being is conspicuously, authentically and naturally naked. As is her brand, her setting is glamorous, luxurious, and opulent.
